Every effort is made to ship orders as quickly as possible. We ship via USPS First Class Mail or Priority Mail depending on the size of the package. Domestic shipping is free. International buyers must pay all shipping, taxes and import fees.
All hand-dyed Aida is shipped rolled instead of folded to reduce wrinkling. NOTE: our hand-dyed Aida is cut to size and hand-dyed to order. This process can take anywhere from two to ten business days depending on how busy we are and the size of the order.
We try to ship all orders as quickly as possible. Depending on how busy we are this could be anywhere from 2-10 business days. If you are worried about the time, please contact us and we can give you a more accurate estimation of processing time.
Custom Fabric Orders
Custom sizes are 8 cents a square inch. In most cases, it is cheaper to purchase the next size up in one of our stock sizes than it is to pay the custom order price. We do not offer any cut larger than 30" x 36".
Custom colors are available. If you would like a combination of two or three of the colors we offer, please email us and we will create a custom order for you.
Traditional vs. Solid Color Hand-dyed Aida
We offer two variations of hand-dyed Aida - traditional and solid color. BOTH are hand-dyed fabrics. Different techniques in the dyeing process produce different results.
Traditional can be two-toned (a light and dark version of the same color) or a combination of two-three different colors. It is composed of splotchy patches of color with some shading, veining and speckling. With some colors, the effect is very prominent and with others it is subtle.
Solid color hand-dyed Aida has a more even distribution of one color and the result is a more solid looking appearance. Keep in mind that it is STILL a hand-dyed product and may have some shading and speckling.
BOTH types of fabric are cut to order and hand-dyed. No two pieces are exactly alike.
These are end of the bolt pieces of fabric that we have dyed in popular colors. They are NOT seconds or damaged items. They are not any different than the regular listings other than the size.
General Information About Our Fabric
Our drying process produces a fabric that is essentially wrinkle free.
We ship each piece ROLLED rather than folded to further reduce wrinkling.
Our fabric is colorfast. (However, keep in mind that most floss is not).
It is not necessary to wash our fabric before or after stitching - but if you must - hand wash in cold water and lay flat to dry.
Our fabric is air-dried and then heat set but minimal shrinkage does occur (approximately a 1/4 inch). Keep this in mind when ordering.
Returns and Exchanges
Due to the nature of our products, we DO NOT accept returns or exchanges on any of our designs, custom fabric orders, orphan fabric or sale items.
Other items may be refunded or exchanged at our discretion. Please see our refund policy below for more information.
